New York Knicks (New York, NY)
Visit this bustling icon in New York City & the oldest arena still in-use in the NBA. Built in 1968, this is the 4th building for the MSG.
Muhammad Ali has fought here & Elvis Presley has performed. The arena was renovated between 2011-2013.
The New York Knicks Arena Tours offer an in-depth look at one of the most famous arenas in the world, giving fans a chance to connect with Knicks history in a special way. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or visiting New York for the first time, these tours provide an unforgettable experience.
During the tour you might get up to the Chase Bridge for a view of the concave ceiling (the “dish” roof) which is pretty cool architecturally.
If you are a Chase Card Holder, you can register for access into the Chase Lounge: enjoy complimentary bites, soft drinks and more in this premium space.
Also check out the “Defining Moments” exhibit – photos, memorabilia, stories of big fights, concerts, Knicks/Rangers moments.
Notable Food & Drinks:
This arena prides itself on “specialty food” but provides traditional options throughout the concourse. Some of the more interesting options include:
Five Pound Hot Dog from Top Dog: this is a show-piece food item—big, loud, fun to share – topped will grilled and fried onions.
Pastrami Sandwich (Carnegie Deli) This is the last Carnegie Deli in NYC inside MSG; great old-school deli vibes.
Lavos Meatballs: renowned for their Beef & Veal Meatballs.
Gluten Free, Vegan & Kosher Options available.
