Milwaukee Bucks Arena (Milwaukee, WI)
Fiserv Forum Address: 1111 N Vel R. Phillips Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53203
About the Arena:
The NBA forced the Buck’s owners, the city & fans to build this new stadium to retrain the team in the city. The bucks played their first game there in October 2018. As part of the project, they created an outside area known as “Deer District” with restaurants, bars, community events and pre-game festivities.
Fiserv Forum is the world’s first bird-friendly sports and entertainment venue, designed in a way that minimizes bird collisions.
You can get a behind the scenes tour of this area. There is another program called “Buck for a Day” which includes a tour, a “contract”, photos with executives & a personalized jersey. You can see both here.
Artwork:
Walking around the arena you will see the Milwaukee Bucks Art Collection. It is comprised of 79 original pieces & 43 photographs (by 32 artists and 170 students.) Twenty-two of the artists chosen have Wisconsin ties, many who live in Milwaukee or the surrounding area. One of the must-see pieces is a full sized stag; the hide made from cut up basketballs & the antlers are made from basketball hoops.
Notable Features:
You can make signs outside of Section 101 and 201.
Stop by the Kohl’s Court, (on the Main Concourse in the northeast corner of Fiserv Forum). There’s an oversizes basketball hoop and Bango bench for opportunities, Bucks replica lockers, a DJ, crafts, and other family-friendly activities.
Notable Food:
MKE Cheesesteak Brat: A mashup of Philly cheesesteak and bratwurst—perfectly Milwaukee-inspired
Whiskey Mushroom Burger: A savory burger featuring a whiskey-infused twist
Elote Loaded Footlong Hot Dog and Johnsonville Pastrami Dog: In the Mezzanine Club, you’ll find the foot-long topped with corn, cheese, pickled onions, and cilantro, while the Pastrami Dog comes with sauerkraut and mustard—creative takes on a simple stadium staple
