Boston Celtics Arena (Boston, MA)
Address: 100 Legends Way, Boston, MA 02114
TD Garden opened in 1995 to replace the iconic Boston Garden. The parquet floor gets rebuilt every game in individual panels and is a homage to the original Garden’s unique design.
Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the inside the Garden and find/photograph the the statues/murals celebrating Celtics legends like Larry Bird, Bill Russell, and Red Auerbach.
The Arena is built over a train station and you might be able to transit to and from the area during your visit.
Must Try Food:
- Yes, you can get a legit New England lobster roll inside the Garden. Served either warm with butter or cold with mayo — fans argue over which is best.
- Grab a Harpoon IPA, a great way to get a taste of Boston while watching the Cs.
- The Mac & Cheese Cone (Hub Hot Dogs): Served in a waffle cone, this over-the-top mac & cheese treat is Instagram-famous. Add bacon or pulled pork for extra chaos (and happiness).
- Cider Donuts (Seasonal): In fall, TD Garden sometimes features warm apple cider donuts — a nod to New England autumns. Sweet, sugary, and perfect with a beer.
