Philadelphia 76ers Arena (Philadephia, PA)
Xfinity Mobile Arena: 3601 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19148
About this Arena:
Note: There is limited time to visit this arena with a plan to replace it by 2031 with a $610 million dollar new area. Demolition will take place when the new arena is open. The very first event held at this arena was a private concert by Ray Charles in August 1996. Another reason to visit this arena while you can: Allen Iverson played here during 1996-2006 seasons and won MVP during the 2000-2001 season.
Location in South Philly Sports Complex: The arena is part of a larger stadium complex (with Lincoln Financial Field, Citizens Bank Park, etc.). So if you’re into exploring or doing a multi-stadium walk or checking out surrounding retail/food, there’s more around.
Notable about this Arena:
Great for a photo-op, visit the Wilt Chamberlain Statue outside the arena.
Artwork & Local Flair: The arena weaves in Philly heritage in its décor (e.g. in Adrian, the bars named after local legends like Chamberlain or Clarke).
Inside the area there are a number of public & private restaurants. The Assembly Room is a lounge area, providing standing-room-only space, social seating, bars, and concessions. If you want premium tickets, that includes food & drinks, look for tickets that include the “Shift4 Club.”
Children two years of age and under do not require a ticket for most events, but will be required to sit on the lap of a paying customer.
Guests can sign up as a designated driver on the main concourse at Section 112 and receive a coupon for a complimentary water or soda from any concession stand.
Notable Food:
24stK (Section 117): Get an upscale, Gold Flaked Cheesesteak made with smoked beef rib, topped with truffle cheese sauce, caramelized onions, A.1. ‘Demi Sauce’ and 24k Gold. It is served on a Liscio bakery roll.
Toothsome Milkshake Foundry (Mezzanine Level & Section 220): over-the-top Milk Shake Creations, topped with cakes and candies with flavors like: Chocolate 5x, Red Velvet & Cookie Jar.
Butternut Squash Pizza (MVP): with fontina, fresh rosemary, garlic oil and shaved parmesan.
Han Dynasty (Section 107): Offers Sichaun-style Chinese food, including lo mein, dumplings, and General Han’s Chicken.
