About Arena:
Built on Biscayne Bay in Miami and opening in 1999. The arena’s opening was inaugurated with a concert by Gloria Estefan and Miami Heat played their first game two nights later, winning against the Orlando Magic. In 2004, the court was named “Pat Riley Basketball Court” in dedication to Coach Riley who led the Heat to three championships and helped the team acquire LeBron James and Chris Bosh in 2010.

Dwyane Wade Statue: A striking tribute to the Heat legend, unveiled in late 2024. Wade is the first Heat player honored with a statue—an iconic photo spot and a must-see.
