Built in 2019, Chase Center, has an outdoor community space for the fans & community called Thrive City. Thrive City, an 11-acre mixed-use campus filled with public plazas, green spaces, over 20 restaurants, retailers, and bars—plus year-round community activities, farmers’ markets, and outdoor events.

“Seeing Spheres”: Five massive mirrored steel spheres by Olafur Eliasson greet visitors outside the arena.

Art-Filled Interiors: Lobbies and concourses showcase pieces on loan from SFMOMA, adding a museum-quality experience to pre- and post-game areas. They also feature art from Bay Area artists so there is plenty of art to see if you explore this arena during your visit.

NBA’s Largest Retractable Scoreboard: A colossal, center-hung display measuring over 9,500–10,000 sq ft, with 24 million+ pixels and retractable functionality for concerts.

Optimized Lower Bowl Seating: More seats close to the court exist than in any NBA arena, making sure you’re never far from the action.

Tips: 

You can go to the information booth & get a “first time game certificate” for your kids.

The NBC Bay Area sports crew (Mullins, Bonta, etc) records their pregame show in the arena, you can watch them as they broadcast and also appear on TV in the background. It’s in the building (just opposite the entrance to Chase, across the plaza.)

Showing up early to this arena is a good idea, you can often catch stars in their warm-up. 

If you walk around the outside of the building you will find the Steph Curry and Popcorn Mural. 

Notable Food & Drinks: 

Longanisa Dirty Dog by the Sarap Shop (Portal 49) This is a type of Filipino pork sausage, known for its distinct flavor and often seasoned with spices like garlic, soy sauce, and paprika.

From South San Francisco, Cocina Milonga (Portal 30) adds traditional Argentinian options featuring traditional Argentinian empanadas and sandwiches.

Beers: Featured breweries include Drake’s, Triple Voodoo, Harmonic Brewing, Dogpatch, Faction, and others.
